Who Is Eligible
A patient is eligible to receive hospice care if they possess the following requirements:
- A licensed health professional’s prognosis is that the patient has a terminal illness.
- Patient is aged 70 or above
- Patient has been evaluated to show an immense decline in health
- Patient is unable to perform without the assistance of a healthcare provider
